How to: Make Herbal Infusions or Teas: Featuring Wild Bergamot

In this video I am using freshly harvested Bee Balm, or Wild Bergamot, an oregano-like herb, to make some tea or also known as an infusion. All you do is cut up or bruise the plant matter - here I am using a mocajete or mortar and pestle to crush the plant mataerial so that the consituents of the plant can be absorbed by the hot water more effectively.

Teas are infusions in herbal-speak, and infusions are teas.
