Here is a very quick demo on creating your own herbal-salve using herbal infused oils of Yarrow (Achillea m.) and Plantain (Plantago m.). All you need is beeswax, containers, a double-boiler of sorts, cheese-cloth, and herbal infused oils. The ratio of beeswax to oil is 1:1 (1 part by weight of wax and 1 part by volume of oil)

This salve is multipurpose acting as a sunscreen, insect repellent, and Neosporine(TM)-like ointment that I treat, cuts, bruises, abrasions, rashes, and insect bites. This is a home-remedy and is no substitute for professional medical care when necessary.
