In this video I will demonstrate the ancient art of finger-weaving or flat-braiding using reverse-twisted dogbane (Apocynum c.). This method, that predates the loom, is used to make woven burden straps, sashes, belts, collars, neckties, headbands, mats, rugs, and other related items.
